New York, NY – JANUARY 2022 – Leading appliance manufacturer SMEG, known for their Italian heritage, classic style, and advanced technology, will display state-of-the-art innovations, and exciting collection updates at this year’s Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) in Orlando, Florida from February 8th – 10th; booth #W1573.
A selection of SMEG’s latest launches will be showcased, including the Unity and Iconic Refrigerators, a result of the brand’s recent partnership with The Coca-Cola Company. The collection features two uniquely-designed refrigerators, one to honor the 50th anniversary of Coca-Cola’s iconic Hilltop television commercial, and the other portraying a classic Coca-Cola look.
Additionally, SMEG’s newest line of ranges, the Professional Style Range Collection, will be showcased. Built for passionate culinary enthusiasts and novice home cooks alike, the products feature classic styling, four-to-six burners, a powerful 18,000 BTU brass burner, and cast-iron grates with a newly-integrated resistance feature, allowing users to slide cookware around without spills and scratches.
SMEG will also debut the newest addition to the Pro-Style Range Collection: an induction cooktop iteration. The offering embraces the latest cooking trends with a contemporary design, and includes four-to-five cooking areas, nine cooking levels, and a booster function for high cooking precision and temperature maintenance, as well as permanent pot recognition, and rapid heating speed. Unique to the lineup is the meat probe that guarantees the best cooking results, and detects the exact temperature within cooked food, with the ranges available in 30 and 36-inch widths.
The brand is also further entering the premium, luxury segment of cooling, with a built-in luxury refrigerator suite on display. The new lineup will showcase unique functionality and design elements, including a TFT display with control settings, function control, ice-maker, LED lights, a dual-zone feature that allows users to regulate the temperature separately for the fridge and freezer, and a shopping function that gives the ability to decrease temperature for a period of time to rapidly cool newly-bought groceries, thus preserving them for longer.
SMEG will also exhibit a variety of reinvigorated built-in classic wall ovens featuring several enhancements to aesthetics and functionality, including pro-style knobs, LCD Display, and a self-cleaning feature, along with SMEG’s latest dishwasher line, which offers varying levels of differentiation based on consumer needs. The updates to the lineup include a renewed door design with more spacious, flexible baskets, and a redesigned detergent dispenser.
