Vanessa Fong

Vanessa is the Principal Architect at VFA Architecture + Design - an innovative studio specializing in holistic, contextually specific, forward-looking custom design. A graduate of McGill University, Vanessa remains a curious explorer - the need to create spaces that positively impact human health and wellness are at the core of her firm’s values. Recognized for excellence in architectural design, Vanessa was inducted to the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada’s College of Fellows in 2024. That same year, VFA was also recognized as an emerging Canadian Architectural Practice by Twenty Plus Change and Canadian Architect.

A strong believer in giving back to the community, Vanessa sits on the Ontario Association of Architects Complaints Committee and has previously served as Vice President Communications - driven by a belief in the architectural community’s obligation to educate the public and decision makers about the value of architecture.
