Principal Designer and Creative DirectorGrau Design Studio

Jennifer Hutton is the Creative Director and Principal Designer at Grau Design Studio and clients in the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area with a special emphasis on kitchens and bathrooms. Her early years began in Buffalo, NY where she was the top kitchen designer at her firm, ultimately setting her up for future success and leading to awards such as the coveted NKBA Thirty Under 30 class of 2020, Triangle Business Journal’s 40 Under 40, KBDN Innovator award, Professional Remodeler’s Forty under 40, and multiple features in Forbes Magazine, among others with national reach. At one time, Jennifer also operated her own freelance firm, HuttonHouse Interiors and simultaneously taught a kitchen and bath design course at her alma mater, Villa Maria College, an NKBA affiliated school. Today, Jennifer sits on the SKS Design Council and is a member of the Modenus Media DesignHounds while continuing her education with the NKBA’s micro-accreditation program. She also spearheads various outreach and volunteer erfforts through the building company from which the Studio was born. In her free time, Jennifer loves to experiment with baking and is often found running.
