Dina Al-Dajani is an Associate Professor of Interior Design at Seminole State College of Florida (SSC), where she teaches interior design and construction courses. Dr. Al-Dajani recently reviewed SSC's Interior Design curriculum, exploring the expansion of NKBA competencies at various program levels. She specializes in teaching Kitchen and Bath Design and Materials courses, alongside other core subjects within the interior design major. Dr. Al-Dajani has also served as a juror for professional kitchen and bath design competitions hosted by the NKBA.
Dr. Al-Dajani is a Certified Master Kitchen and Bath Designer, a LEED Accredited Professional, and a WELL Accredited Professional. She brings a robust background in architecture, interior design, construction, and higher education to her role. Dr. Al-Dajani holds a Ph.D. in Architecture, a Master's degree focused on Urban Design from the University of Toronto, and both Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Architecture. For the past 25 years, she has specialized in residential, commercial, and healthcare remodeling. Her professional experience also includes serving as a peer reviewer, moderator, juror, and accreditation reviewer. Dr. Al-Dajani has presented at numerous regional, national, and international scientific meetings and conferences, and has conducted research in interior design, sustainability, and wellness.
Dr. Al-Dajani is affiliated with several prominent organizations, including the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA), the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI), the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB), the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), the Interior Design Educators Council (IDEC), and the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture (ACSA).
