David Bernstein

David Bernstein is the founder and CEO of DB Custom Homes, an award winning luxury custom home building firm operating in Southern Ontario and expanding to include South Florida. With more than two decades of experience, David works at the intersection of craftsmanship, building science, thoughtful design, and complex project delivery.

Since founding DB Custom Homes in 2009, he has built a specialized team and lasting relationships with leading architects, designers, consultants, trades, and suppliers. His work spans custom residences, large-scale renovations, high-performance and Net Zero construction, and independent owner representation.

A Certified Net Zero Builder with experience in Passive House principles and advanced building systems, David advocates integrating performance, sustainability, wellness, and technology into luxury homebuilding.
