Founder and principal designer of Chairma Design Group, Co-Founder of Löyly Sauna LoungeChairma Design Group, Löyly Sauna LoungeCindy Aplnalp-Ruzicka is an award-winning interior designer and founder of Chairma Design Group with over two decades of experience in luxury residential and hospitality design. Her work has been featured in numerous publications, and she is known for creating deeply personal and emotionally resonant interiors. After her husband Dion was diagnosed with leukemia, Cindy redirected her design expertise toward wellness, co-founding Löyly Sauna Lounge, Houston’s first communal contrast therapy space. She is a 2025 graduate of HEROIC Public Speaking and a Global Wellness Institute ambassador. Cindy now speaks on designing for healing, integrating ancient modalities with modern interiors, and creating social wellness spaces that help people reconnect—with themselves and each other.
