KBIS Unveils its 2017 Stage Program Schedule

Energetic Stage Programs Aim to Educate, Inspire and Connect the Kitchen & Bath

(Alpharetta, Ga.) – December 13, 2016; (UPDATED January 7, 2017) – The 2017 Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS)the destination for kitchen and bath design professionals, is proud to announce the highly anticipated schedule of stage programs for KBIS 2017. Set to take place on the NKBA Presents KBISNeXT™ Stage sponsored by HomeAdvisor, located in the South Hall, stage programs aim to educate, inspire and connect the kitchen and bath industry throughout the three day event, January 10-12, 2017 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando.

Programs to highlight for 2017 include the return of Design Bites during the lunch hour on Tuesday, January 10th and Wednesday, January 11th.  Just before and following both Design Bites programs, KBIS attendees will hear from This Old House spokespersons Norm Abram and Kevin O’Connor as they introduce This Old House Generation Next, a campaign to encourage young people to master the vocational trades that built this country by supporting the mikeroweWORKS Foundation’s Work Ethic Scholarship Program.

Other programs include:

  • A “Color Talks” panel at 9:15am on day two featuring moderator Alena Capra of Alena Capra Designs and Coverings Industry Ambassador with panelists Nate Berkus of Nate Berkus Associates and Artistic Advisor to LG STUDIO appliances, Amy Wax of Amy Wax Color Consulting, Laurel Bern of Laurel Bern Interiors, Andrea Magno of Benjamin Moore, and Daniel Germani of Daniel Germani Designs and Cosentino.
  • Sponsored by Niagara Conservation, a panel discussion on “Designing for Airbnb” at 10:30am on day two will feature moderator Jaime Derringer of Design Milk with panelists Bobby Berk of Bobby Berk Interiors + Design, Vicky Sanderson of the Toronto Star, and Rhonda Knoche of Rhonda Knoche Design.

“We have an impressive line-up of energetic stage programing planned for KBIS 2017. Each will provide attendees with knowledge and insights from today’s top names in kitchen and bath design,” said NKBA V.P. of Industry Relations Suzie Williford.

New for 2017, the two former stages will join to create one destination – the NKBA Presents KBISNeXT Stage sponsored by HomeAdvisor – and will serve as the location for all stage presentations.
