Wood-Mode, the leader in fine custom cabinetry, announces three new finishes for its Designer Color Palette in direct response to 2016 industry color trends and consumer demand. The American-made luxury brand also announces a trio of updates to its Vintage Designer Opaque color palette to round out its portfolio of rich, quality finishes.

DESIGNER COLOR PALETTE UPDATES

Bright White

Designers and consumers wanted a cleaner white, and Wood-Mode delivers it with Bright White. While it is difficult to produce a true white that doesn’t pick up yellow overtones from bulbs and fixtures, the Wood-Mode product development team has succeeded in producing this more neutral white that is less susceptible to graying and yellowing. This brighter white also complements a greater range of whites found in some popular countertops and appliances allowing more compatibility across product categories.

Platinum

A mid-tone warm gray, Platinum offers a taupe-like hue for a rich and refined finish. As gray continues to see strong demand from both homeowners and designers, Wood-Mode is excited to offer another option in its growing opaque color palette.

Deep Aegean

Accent colors allow designers to include unexpected colors

without overwhelming a space. Deep Aegean joins the Wood-Mode list of inspired shades and hues and is ideal for an island, a small group of specialty cabinets or a signature bathroom vanity.A cooler blue than navy, it possesses a vibrancy that can only be found in the deep waters off the Greek coast.

VINTAGE DESIGNER OPAQUE UPDATES

 Slivered Almond

As the name suggests, Slivered Almond adds a “barely there” cast of cream color. As a Vintage opaque, this new color provides a warmer and more transitional alternative to grays and whites.

Blue Toile

A soft and feminine blue, this shade falls on the grayer end of the blue palette and is a color traditionally used in Georgian Colonial style.

Garrison Red

If you love barn red, but don’t want your cabinetry to bold, then Garrison Red is the perfect compromise. A warm shade with an aged quality can provide an unexpected pop of color for accent cabinets and islands.
