With Bocchi, Design, Durability and Comfort Are Now Within Homeowners’ Reach
Bocchi brings back the kitchen sinks made of the ultimate material, to American kitchens: Fireclay.
Fireclay, a 100% natural and recyclable material used by craftsman for centuries to create timeless appliances, has now returned into homeowners’ kitchen.
The heavy manufacturing process, which includes firing the product in kilns up to 2000 °F temperatures transforms fireclay into one of the most durable materials used in today’s kitchen sinks. Their special glaze coating that is fused with the fireclay body during firing gives fireclay sinks a non-porous, uniform surface which does not scratch, rust or stain over time.
In addition to its natural, sustainable and durable features, thanks to many years of investment in R&D, two recent technological discoveries made by the Bocchi team now complement the Bocchi fireclay sinks. One of the major patented technological breakthrough is the Super Smooth Surface. This technology has been developed to bring better hygiene and healthier lifestyle to the kitchen. Test results show that the Super Smooth Surface is 19 times smoother and has less roughness than the regular glazed surfaces.
Super Smooth Surface Technology results in a surface with higher quality than regular porcelain surfaces, minimizing lime remains, undesirable dirt and bacteria and ultimately making the Bocchi fireclay sinks most hygienic.
Another technological innovation, the Clean Plus+, decreases roughness even more, resulting in a hydrophobic effect which helps homeowners keep their kitchen sink not only clean but also shiny and looking brand new for a life time.
The combination of Super Smooth Surface and Clean Plus+ technologies allow sinks to be cleaned effortlessly and faster, enabling homeowners to save time and water during the cleaning process, which at the end means less effort and positive impact on the environment.
On top of its technological features, Bocchi brings to the kitchen a design that embraces tradition with a modern touch coupled with an extensive choice of colors, enhancing homeowners’ comfort and well-being.
Bocchi sinks come in six different collection lines, five apron-front sink and one undermount sink collection. Two of the apront-front sink collections, the Vigneto StepRim and Contempo StepRim collections have the special Step Rim feature, a lowered inner basin ledge allowing the integrated use of specially designed accessories: the wooden cutting board, and stainless-steel colanders, to provide extra comfort and functionality.
Thanks to the variety of sinks offered by Bocchi, homeowners can create unique kitchen solutions combining nine different colors with traditional or minimalistic designs. Whether homeowners are considering a Bocchi Farmhouse sink for its distinctive design and color as the epicenter of their dream kitchen or simply willing to enjoy the timeless elegance of fireclay as undermount sink, Bocchi kitchen sinks are truly crafted to match their desires and beyond.
