CEUs, presentations, roundtable discussions, tours and experiential events focused on the design principles of Living In Place scheduled as part of KBIS Think
(DENVER, CO) — December 12, 2019 – The Living In Place Institute (LIPI), the educational organization behind the Certified Living in Place Professional™ (CLIPP™) program, has developed a comprehensive schedule of programming at the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) in Las Vegas, Nevada January 21-23, 2020 as part of the KBIS Think initiative. Held in the South Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center, KBIS Think brings together LIPI (S-114), Lightovation Lounge (S-113) and the National Kitchen & Bath Association (S-107) to provide attendees with thought-provoking educational opportunities straight from the show floor.
Throughout the three-day show, attendees can learn more about LIPI and the CLIPP program through more than 25 activations including CEUs offered through the NKBA Voices From the Industry Conference, as well as daily talks, roundtable discussions, tours, and experiential events at the Showcase for Living in Place (Room S-114), to better educate themselves on the benefits of designing beautiful homes that are accessible, comfortable and safe for all everyone.
“This is our second year for the Showcase for Living In Place at KBIS. What’s great about this format is that it provides peer-to-peer learning opportunities. More than a dozen of our Certified Living In Place Professionals, many of whom are also LIPI Ambassadors, are leading these conversations,” explained Louie Delaware and Erik Listou, LIPI co-founders. “They are able to share their expertise and personal experiences on the importance of incorporating design elements like proper lighting, door widths, and shower transitions to create spaces that are beneficial to everyone.”
