Sustainability superstar RainStick returns to the 2023 KBIS in Las Vegas, Nevada

Last year’s “Best of KBIS” Impact Award and Kickstarter winner is ready to showcase new technology with North America’s first WiFi-enabled circular shower

Kelowna, BC. (January 10, 2023) – RainStick Shower, the Canadian clean technology company revolutionizing the water tech space, will exhibit at the upcoming 2023 Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) from January 31st to February 2nd at the Las Vegas Convention Center in booth #N1267. RainStick is North America’s first WiFi-enabled circular shower that saves 80 percent water and up to 80 percent energy while maintaining almost twice the flow rate compared to a traditional low-flow shower.

Debuted at last year’s KBIS show, RainStick was awarded the “Best of KBIS” 2022 Impact Award and received first place in the KBIS Kickstarter Awards, an award given to the most promising new brand at the show. Since then, RainStick has been recognized as a game-changer in the bathroom industry across North America. The company was recently named on Cleantech’s 50 To Watch list, an annual list of top global early-stage private companies recognized for their excellence in sustainable innovation.

KBIS attendees will have the chance to meet the co-founders, Alisha and Sean McFetridge, in the RainStick booth, catch live demonstrations of how the appliance works, and ask any design or install questions. The first 50 attendees to the booth will receive an exclusive discount code towards the purchase of a RainStick shower.  Visitors will also be able to catch Alisha on the KBIS NEXT Stage during the 2023 KBIS Kickstarter Awards ceremony on Thursday, February 2, at 10 a.m.

“Sustainable design is no longer a nice to have, but a need to have when it comes to new builds and remodeling projects, especially in certain areas of North America where water shortages are part of everyday life,” says Alisha McFetridge, CEO & Co-founder of RainStick Shower. “We can’t wait to connect with the design community and show them that they don’t need to sacrifice design for sustainability. With RainStick, they can have both a highly sustainable shower that performs incredibly well and looks amazing in any bathroom space, indoors or outdoors. 2023 will be a milestone year as our appliance enters full production and RainSticks are installed in homes across North America.”

The appliance starts with fresh grid-supplied water; however, instead of going down the drain, RainStick uses proprietary recirculation technology to capture, circulate, and clean the water, all in real-time to avoid waste. Its three-stage process removes hair and debris, disinfects water, and kills bacteria and viruses through long-life UV-LED technology. Users can also download the RainStick App on their smartphone to instantaneously see environmental insights, allowing them to track their water usage and energy savings.

RainStick continues to receive positive feedback from the industry, supporting the product’s vision to be an important factor in North American sustainable design projects in a connected home. The RainStick shower comes in two finishes: Matte Black and Brushed Nickel, and is now available for full order on the RainStick website, with order fulfillment scheduled for Spring of 2023.
