Launching the Power of Balance Collection, an expansive series of designs and line extensions that embody the Japanese concept of “Ma”
(Las Vegas, NV – February 2025) – Viefe, the Barcelona-based manufacturer of design-forward architectural hardware, including knobs, pulls/handles, wall hooks, and door stoppers, is proud to bring the “Power of Balance Collection” to KBIS 2025. Find Viefe in the North Hall, Booth N3072.
The Power of Balance Collection – Inspired by the Concept of “Ma” (間).
Viefe has drawn inspiration from the Japanese concept of ‘Ma,’ which celebrates the creative power of empty space or the pause between objects. ‘Ma’ is an essential element that enriches the pure forms in the collection, enhancing their ability to transform spaces with their meaningful presence.
This collection reflects the essence of European design and aims to redefine interiors across the US with its timeless elegance and purposeful innovation. The products are thoughtfully designed in Europe in collaboration with a team of multidisciplinary designers who are constantly experimenting, investigating, and innovating. Considering both trends and classics, the designs are uniquely reinterpreted for beautiful and functional everyday use.
Among the several new designs launching at KBIS are Hinoki Wood and the Luv Wood extension. The company continues to champion the organic strength of wood, a material that embodies both tradition and modernity, that also reflects the company’s roots as a small turnery making wooden buttons. Other featured designs include Brooklyn, Hinoki, and Milano which utilize Aluminum and the mixed metal material Zamak. Additionally, Viefe continues to grow its offerings with the launch of two new finishes, including Brushed Bronze and Matte Bronze.
Brooklyn and Brooklyn Big | Designed by Danish design studio Steffensen & Würtz, the Brooklyn handle takes inspiration from contemporary urban architecture. Defined by straight, clean, and perfectly structured lines, its minimalist form reflects the functional elegance of the modern buildings that define a cityscape. This aluminum handle is available in multiple sizes and finishes: Polished nickel, Brushed black, Titanium black, Brushed brass cava, and Brushed bronze.
Milano | Designed by German studio Kaschkasch, the ultra-minimalist design of the Milano handle was inspired by elegant elements found in large metropolises like tubular railings. An accessory that brings modernity to spaces with its balanced combination of circular shapes and rounded edges, it can be fitted both vertically and horizontally. This handle crafted from Zamak features smaller dimensions, with compact sizes ranging from 4.75” to 7.28.” Available in Matte white, Matte black, Moss grey, Forest green, and Volcano red.
Hinoki & Hinoki Big + Hinoki Wood & Hinoki Wood Big | Designer Alexis Vivet combined the aesthetic purity and timelessness of the Hinoki handle with the concepts of integrity and longevity that Japanese culture associates with the Hinoki cypress. Hinoki, crafted from Aluminum, and Hinoki Wood, made from wood, are graceful handles characterized by harmonious proportions and purposeful angles. Hinoki offers an exceptionally comfortable grip thanks to its smooth texture and contours. Hinoki is available in Brushed black, Brushed brass cava, and Brushed bronze. Hinoki Wood is available in Raw Oak, Oak, and Walnut finishes.
Luv Wood Handle | The light-yet-strong Luv Wood Handle extends the beloved Luv Collection designed by Kaschkasch studio. It is made from responsibly sourced/certified wood and has a warm, Nordic-inspired design. Luv is a handle with an iconic design distinguished by its upper curve. Oak matte black lacquered finishes.
