Rev-A-Shelf, LLC., plans to break ground on a new manufacturing facility located in Blankenbaker Station II Business Park in eastern Jefferson County. The 315,000 sq. ft. building will allow for the consolidation of three local Rev-A-Shelf locations into one state of the art facility. The 30.45 acre tract will also accommodate future expansion.

Thirty-five years of continued growth combined with recent acquisitions have solidied Rev-A-Shelf as the North American leader in cabinet storage organizing accessories and L.E.D. lighting solutions for residential, display & casework cabinetry.

Originally a division of Ajax Hardware (California), Rev-A-Shelf was established in 1978 as a division of Jones Plastics and Engineering, a family owned injection molder of appliances parts, and other custom polymer components. Rev-A-Shelf has over 300 employees locally.

In addition to manufacturing, the new building will house an expanded testing facility, modern showrooms, and an interactive training facility. Construction documents are being prepared with a goal of breaking ground in early May 2013. The company expects the construction process to take about 10 months.
