The National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) is pleased to announce that two more colleges have achieved Supported Program provider status. The Art Institute of Pittsburgh, located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, has met all requirements to become an NKBA Supported Program provider of Associate of Science Degree Kitchen & Bath Design (Online Division). Meanwhile Virginia Marti College of Art and Design, located in Lakewood, Ohio, has met all requirements to become an NKBA Supported Program provider of a the Associate of Applied Business in Interior Design degree.
Supported Program status is the first step to becoming a fully NKBA-accredited institution. To become an NKBA Accredited Program, an educational institution must have a kitchen and bath design curriculum that prepares students for NKBA Certification Exams, and undergo evaluation of its mission, administration, faculty and resources.
