New Ultra-High Efficiency, Quiet Stealth Rear Outlet Offers In-Wall Plumbing Install Solution
Niagara Conservation®, a leading innovator of residential and commercial water- and energy-saving products, recently developed its quiet, ultra-high-efficiency (UHET) Stealth toilet in a new rear outlet model, ideal for any in-wall plumbing install, such as commercial or multi-housing applications. As the most efficient model on the market, the Stealth Rear Outlet uses nearly 20 percent less water than other rear outlet toilets and is the only single flush rear outlet toilet that uses 0.8 gallons per flush (GPF), providing a new opportunity for hotels, motels and older commercial buildings to reduce water and sewer bills.

Niagara’s Stealth Rear Outlet model also provides an ideal solution for renovations or remodels. A rear outlet toilet allows those renovating older buildings to replace the existing toilets without having to tear down walls, which can create an added expense. Contractors can eliminate unnecessary construction time and costs by installing Niagara’s Stealth Rear Outlet toilet, which provides an eco-friendly upgrade that reduces water usage and utility bills.

Start Saving with Stealth
Along with its status as an ultra-high-efficiency toilet, Niagara’s Stealth toilets are EPA WaterSense® labeled and were recently awarded the MaP Premium label for superior performance and efficiency. Activated by simply pressing the flush push button, the Stealth quietly clears all waste in the toilet bowl eliminating the need for double flushing or dual flush systems. The technologically advanced Stealth’s water and utility bill savings go a step beyond standard water-saving toilets, using 37 percent less water per flush than a standard 1.28 gallon high-efficiency toilet. Compared to the average use of older 3.5 GPF toilets, Stealth can save up to 18,000 gallons of water per year which translates to $120 per year on water usage, and $1,013 in its lifetime, depending on the wastewater rate.

Unlike other rear outlet toilets, Stealth does not use a pressure assist system, resulting in an extraordinarily quiet flush. The patented hydraulic and water-saving technology behind Stealth involves a remarkable combination of air and water working in unison. At the conclusion of each flush, as water fills the tank and inner chamber, air is forced down through a transfer tube and into the trapway. As a result, this pressurizes the trapway and creates a larger water surface in the bowl, helping to deliver a cleaner and more reliable flush. When the toilet is flushed again, the vacating flush water creates a vacuum that depressurizes the trapway. This creates extraordinarily powerful siphonic suction, as the trapway is quickly and completely filled with waste water from the bowl. The ceramic trapway is fully-glazed, which also helps ensure the bowl is cleared with each flush. And, because Stealth maintains pressure in the trapway instead of the tank, it produces a remarkably quiet flush without residual noise.

“We’re excited to offer our in-wall plumbing customers with the new Stealth Rear Outlet model as an affordable, quiet and ultra high-efficiency product solution,” states Carl Wehmeyer, Niagara Conservation’s executive vice president. “At Niagara, we’re constantly developing new products and innovations to offer the ultimate in savings while also helping the environment.”

The Stealth Rear Outlet is currently available at plumbing wholesalers, including Barnett, HD Supply, Maintenance Supply HQ and Wilmar at a retail price of $393.59.
