New Geberit Sigma10 Flush Plates Showcased at KBIS 2018, Elevate Touch-Free Hygiene
Des Plaines, IL – New dual-flush Sigma10 Series flush plates from Geberit offering touch-free toilet flushing, promoting improved hygiene and convenience will be introduced during KBIS 2018 in Orlando, January 9-11 in booth W1141. Exclusive sensor technology provides optimum water savings with a wave of the hand; users may also simply walk away for a full flush. The Sigma10 Series is compatible with both the standard 1.6/0.8 GPF Geberit in-wall toilet systems and the low-consumption 1.28/0.8 GPF systems.
“The Sigma10 is a totally hands-free flush technology. Combine that with the Geberit in-wall system, and the homeowner can save thousands of gallons of water per year,” says Ronn Jefferson, Product Manager, Geberit US. “It’s also important to realize that hand-washing related infections cause more than $8 billion in direct health-related costs. Flushing hands-free with Geberit Sigma10 is a great way to reduce the spread of these infections.”
In-wall systems are an easy fit and can be installed in 2×4 and 2×6 room-height walls and 2×6 pre-wall installations. The in-wall system features an adjustable-height carrier that positions the toilet 15 to 19 inches off the floor to meet personal preference or ADA guidelines including ANSI A117.1. The system offers many other benefits like easy cleaning, improved hygiene, enhanced safety and simple maintenance.
The touch-free Sigma10 is available with either battery or AC power and comes in seven flawless, décor-enhancing finishes. Independent sensor electronics prevent tampering, and a vandal-resistant stainless steel cover plate is available.
The Geberit family of actuators for in-wall toilet and urinal systems is the largest and most diverse group of manual and electronic flush actuators in the world.
