Mastercraft Cabinets announces three new door styles, plus more than 100 new kitchen storage solutions, cabinet models and decorative options this week at the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show, part of Design & Construction Week™ in Las Vegas, Nevada. According to the latest National Association of Homebuilders (NAHB) /First American Leading Markets Index (LMI), as the housing market outlook continues to improve, new buyers are being brought into the market.
The NAHB reports that as more markets are returning to normal levels, their experts expect the upward trend to continue as an improving economy and pent-up demand brings more home buyers back into the marketplace. The housing market growth isn’t limited to larger cities. NAHB economists report 45 percent of the 350 metropolitan areas analyzed are recovering at a faster pace than the nation as a whole and that smaller markets with populations of less than 500,000 are leading the way.
“Homebuyers who are visiting model homes today are truly looking for a feature-packed kitchen, but they are still value-conscious,” says Ethan Newell, Director of Builder Sales. “With fresh new door styles and many new models and options, those homebuyers will find the storage and style features they’ve seen in magazines, blogs and television shows, at a price that is within reach.”
Updated Transitional Styling
Mastercraft’s new cabinet models include enhanced storage solutions and convenience options such as an improved lazy susan, pull-out waste cabinets, wall counter cabinets, pull-out wall and base cabinets, decorative panels, moldings, trays and the Crossmate wine storage cube.
Three new door styles from Mastercraft are available in maple and cherry. Cheshire, featuring a solid wood center panel in both a square and an arched style, plus Winfield with a mitered corner and recessed veneer center panel fit perfectly into the transitional styling trend, offering an updated look to buyers.
Up-to-date Features Tailored to Align to Code Changes
Even as the housing market is in recovery, builders and suppliers are scrambling to keep up with changes. John Rose, senior manager of product marketing, says, “In response to code requirement updates along with changes to newer appliance models, we are enhancing cabinets in multiple categories, including tall oven cabinets, built-in microwave cabinets and bath vanities.”
