Charleston Forge’s New Vanity Collection Takes The Company Into The Kitchen & Bath Sector

Boone, NC: Known for their domestically-produced, handmade steel furniture, Charleston Forge has been a well-respected fixture of the home furnishings industry for almost 40 years. With the addition of their Luxury Glass Surfaces Division several years ago, they are earning that same reputation in the Kitchen + Bath industry. Through their long-standing partnership with Andrew Pearson Glass in Mount Airy, NC, they have also become well known for their striking 2-inch thick Fuzion glass, as well as a variety of other luxury glass products. This superior product is now available on kitchen and bathroom countertops and vanities in a range of thicknesses. Fuzion glass, along with the other specialty glass options, can also be used for visually striking vertical surfaces.

Kelly Gwaltney, Vice-President of Luxury Glass, has worked closely with members of the National Kitchen & Bath Association to find the best place for Charleston Forge in this market. That research has led to the Charleston Forge Vanity Collection. The design of the vanities stays true to the company’s expertise by blending elements of steel, glass, and wood to create unique and beautiful products. The top surface of the vanities features textured glass, available in an array of colors. The cabinetry is available in Ash, Maple, and Walnut. The four vanity designs are inspired by the company’s top-selling furniture collections and are available in a 24-inch wide Petite, a 35-inch wide Single, and a 70-inch wide Double. Custom sizes are also available. Each cabinet features a towel bar as well as an oval, hammered aluminum sink. The glass tops are also pre-drilled with a standard hole for a faucet.

Like all Charleston Forge products, the steel bases and towel rail are available in a wide range of durable, powder coat paint finishes, and the cabinetry is available in a variety of hand-applied finishes. These heirloom quality vanities can be seen for the first time at KBIS booth #1174 in West Hall.
