Like sliding doors that open to the side, Sugatsune’s lateral opening door systems, the LIN-X and FAD series, open to the side but on a hinge system. This allows the hardware to be installed on the door frame only so no track is used. Unlike ordinary swinging doors you have to step out of the way to open, the LIN-X and FAD allow the door to open towards then glide to the side, eliminating the need to step away. When fully open the door lays parallel against the wall or panel next to it, making it perfect for tight spaces!
