GOOD DESIGN™ is the world’s most prestigious, recognized, and oldest design awards program organized annually by The Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design in cooperation with the European Centre for Architecture, Art, Design and Urban Studies. Liebherr’s CBS 1660 refrigerator was awarded a Good Design Award for its environmentally-friendly features, German engineering, and thoughtful design. The awards recognize the most innovative and cutting-edge industrial, product, and graphic designs produced around the world. The Museum received submissions from several thousand of the world’s leading companies and selected more than 900 product designs from 46 nations.

Liebherr’s HW8000 fully integrated 24-inch wine cabinet received the Interior Design Best of Year Award – one of the most highly regarded awards programs in the industry that honors the most significant work of the year by designers, architects, and manufacturers from around the globe. Winners, selected from nearly 2,300 submissions, were named in 113 categories; the biggest competition in Best of Year history. The HW8000, which was awarded for its design aesthetic and sophisticated features, holds up to 80 bottles and blends in beautifully with kitchen cabinetry for the ultimate dream kitchen.

Architectural Digest selected Liebherr as a 2017 AD Great Design Award winner for its WU4500 BuiltIn 24-Inch Wide 46 Bottle Cabinet. This inaugural award program honored 150 curated products throughout the year that represent the best-in-class design. The WU4500 features an intuitive electronic touch control panel with whisper quiet operation.
