Miami, FL – January 2017 – Liebherr is announcing new BioFresh models at this year’s KBIS in Orlando. The new additions will make BioFresh available across the entire Freestanding / Semi Built-In width options of the German refrigeration specialist. With the introduction of the CBS 1360 and the CBS 1660, Liebherr’s patented technology will be available for the first time in 24” and 30”.

Liebherr’s freestanding category offers customers a wide range of design options. Making the refrigerator the centerpiece of your kitchen is easy thanks to the high quality stainless steel finish. With 24” counter depth, creating a built-in look is as easy as pushing the refrigerator into a cut-out of your cabinetry.

Developed by Liebherr and first introduced in the late 1990’s, BioFresh technology keeps food items fresher for longer by maintaining a constant temperature of just above 32°F in the BioFresh drawers. Users can set the humidity levels, creating optimum conditions to store fruits, vegetables, meat, fish and dairy products. Some items will keep fresh up to 3 times longer in a BioFresh refrigerator compared to a conventional refrigerator*.
