Experience the Future of Surfaces at KBIS 2025: Laminam Showcases World’s Thinnest 2mm Slabs, Inspiring New Colors, and Unwavering Commitment to Sustainability.
Italian manufacturer and global leader of large-format porcelain slabs offers groundbreaking product introductions
Las Vegas, NV. (February 12, 2025) – Laminam, the global Italian leader in porcelain slab surfaces, is set to wow the architecture and design community with new color launches and never-seen-before ultra-thin slabs showcased in their booth #N2663 during the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS) from February 25-27, 2025, in Las Vegas.
“KBIS is the ideal platform for Laminam to officially launch some of the most groundbreaking innovations in the surface industry in North America,” said Philip Eeles, President and CEO of Laminam North America. “From our beautiful new color additions to the debut of the world’s thinnest large-format slab series – twO by Laminam, we’re reaffirming our commitment to R&D by designing surfaces that not only elevate aesthetic appeal but also embody the durability and sustainability Laminam is known for.”
Introducing twO by Laminam – the world’s thinnest large-format porcelain
Laminam’s new groundbreaking twO Series is the world’s first 2mm ultra-thin large porcelain slab, enabling applications beyond traditional surfaces. twO’s remarkable flexibility allows for flat and curved applications, from wall, cabinetry, appliance and furniture cladding to inspiring new applications like light fixtures and plumbing accents.
Laminam’s twO is also a great choice for LEED projects as it is composed of a mix of new and up to 60% recycled natural minerals, using less raw materials than traditional slabs. The result is an extremely lightweight slab (1.02lb/sf) that helps reduce CO2 emissions per square foot of material when transported. It can also be applied on top of existing tile, reducing construction waste,
Awe-inspiring colors and collections
Two new stand-alone color additions will be shown in the Laminam booth – Calacatta Viola and Taj Mahal, part of the I Naturali collection. Both offer unparalleled luxury, versatility, and style, providing innovative design solutions for both interior and exterior applications.
Calacatta Viola brings the captivating beauty of marble to life with bold, richly hued purple veins that flow across the surface, creating dynamic, one-of-a-kind patterns and textures. Inspired by the elegance of natural stone, this surface is perfect for modern and minimalist interiors, effortlessly elevating spaces with its dramatic violet accents.
Inspired by the iconic Indian marble, Taj Mahal features a soft, creamy beige base adorned with delicate golden veining. This refined surface exudes tranquillity and sophistication, capturing the timeless beauty of its natural counterpart. Ideal for both classic and contemporary designs, Taj Mahal creates serene, welcoming environments while adding a touch of understated elegance. Its versatile color palette makes it perfect for a wide range of applications.
Laminam will also launch its new Slate Collection, a portfolio of colors that draw inspiration from the timeless beauty of the natural metamorphic slate stone. Crafted using Laminam’s cutting-edge technology, each slab perfectly replicates the stone’s authentic texture and organic appearance with a blend of earthy tones, subtle veining, and intricate details. The collection comprises five striking colors — Alaska, Amazzonia, Ankara, Burgundy, and Vulcano — ranging from soft, light creams to rich, deep greys.
Pedini Partnership
Multiple unconventional surface applications will be featured in the booth, including a complete kitchen island designed by renowned Italian kitchen manufacturer Pedini, showing off a sleek, contemporary aesthetic. The kitchen island will be cladded using twO, and the lighting fixtures and even the faucet will have Laminam integrated into the design.
