In its tradition of launching innovation around the kitchen sink, InSinkErator is proud to launch a new product category, the All-in-One kitchen tap. With the InSinkErator 3N1 model of the All-in-One tap, the company will be offering a primary kitchen faucet with added functionality, a first of its kind in the North American market. The 3N1 provides the convenience of near-boiling water on demand from the same faucet that delivers both cool and hot tap water.
“The Italian-designed 3N1 is the perfect kitchen tap for stylish, urban consumers who seek ease and convenience for their busy lifestyles,” said Jack Backstrom, director of global water products planning for InSinkErator. “It’s the modern, elegant sink appliance that unites style with function.” The 3N1 combines a contemporary mixer tap with an instant hot water dispenser to provide unfiltered cold and hot water, or filtered, near-boiling water on the spot.
A working 3N1 faucet will be on display in the InSinkErator booth (N3137) at KBIS. Product is scheduled for distribution later this year. Available finishes include chrome and brushed steel, and the faucet includes a 5-year, in-home, full service limited warranty. The 3N1 faucet must be paired with the InSinkErator stainless steel Instant Hot Water Tank and Water Filtration System or new high performance (HP) steaming hot water tank, the choice of professional coffee shops with higher temperature and performance.
InSinkErator Re-Enters Chilled Water Technologies Business
In addition to unveiling its 3N1 tap, InSinkErator also will be showcasing its Chiller, a chilled water tank that is compatible with most Indulge series hot and cold faucets. “We’re excited to get back into this market,” said Backstrom. “The Chiller meets InSinkErator’s high reliability standards, and consumers will like its compact size and easy installation.” The Chiller has the smallest footprint on the market (13.6” x 7.7” x 11.4”) and is able to deliver up to 4 gallons of chilled water (41-52 degrees Fahrenheit) every hour.
Some Like It Hot
Another new product that InSinkErator will showcase in its KBIS booth is the company’s High-Performance (HP) Tank. This professional-grade tank is able to deliver more near-boiling- water per hour. “In response to consumer feedback, we’ve developed a tank that’s similar to models used in professional coffee shops,” said Backstrom. “Our HP Tank holds water at a higher temperature – 207 degrees Fahrenheit or 98 degrees Celsius – and the product’s quicker recovery time results in less variance in the temperature.”
The InSinkErator booth also will feature the company’s Hot 100 instant hot water dispensing system. The value-priced Hot 100 is available in chrome and includes an easy push button feature. The Hot 100 is able to produce up to 60 cups of near-boiling water every hour.
New Finishes
In an effort to cater to changing trends in styles, InSinkErator will be unveiling new finishes at KBIS: Classic Oil Rubbed Bronze, Brushed Bronze and Ice Steel. “We know designers and consumers are seeking a better match between the popular finish styles of their principal faucets and their steaming hot water dispensers,” said Backstrom. The Oil Rubbed Bronze and Brushed Bronze finish will be available for the 1100, 2200 and 2215 models in the Indulge series, and the Ice Steel finish will be available for the 1100 and 3300 models, all part of the Indulge series.
Evolution Series® of Household Disposers Also on Display
The InSinkErator booth also will include a “grind room” where visitors can see and hear the difference between the Evolution Series of disposers vs. traditional disposers. “Since its launch in 2006, the Evolution Series disposers have set a new standard in grind and sound performance,” said Debbie Groshek, senior product manager at InSinkErator. “Featuring patented MultiGrind® and SoundSeal® technologies, Evolution Series disposers grind more with less noise.”
Design the Ultimate Kitchen Sink; Win a mini iPad
Visitors to the InSinkErator booth who design the ultimate kitchen sink using a 52-inch touch screen will be entered into a daily drawing to win a mini iPad. With options ranging from transitional to traditional and contemporary, visitors will be able to choose from five different food waste disposers and five different instant hot water systems as they design their ultimate kitchen sink. When visitors are done designing their sink, they will be able to see how many other visitors made the same choices as them.
