February 5th, 2019—Salt Lake City, UT—On February 19, leading lighting manufacturer Hammerton will make its debut at the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) at the Las Vegas Convention Center as part of the new Lightovation section in the new Salon by KBIS tent. The U.S manufacturer of artisan crafted custom decorative lightingwill showcase a variety of new lighting designs, which, like all Hammerton products, are totally customizable. Additionally, Hammerton’s “Starburst” chandelier design has been selected as the featured lighting element in the adjacent KBIS Edit section, which will featureexclusive, design-forward brands curated by Modenus and DesignMilk.

“The Kitchen & Bath trade customer has a sophisticated appreciation for the value of innovative, design-leading products and knows how to sell them,” says Hammerton president Bill Shott. “So we see Hammerton as a perfect fit, and we’re excited to exhibit at KBIS. Like many top-selling Kitchen & Bath brands, Hammerton doesn’t sacrifice function for great design.”

The 10’x20’ Hammerton booth (#BL40010) will feature decorative indoor and outdoor lighting sold under both the Hammerton and Hammerton Studio brands. The luxury custom-focused Hammerton brand includes several design collections sold primarily through high-end residential, hospitality and commercial designers. The Hammerton Studio brand offers extraordinary design value in an array of collections inspired by custom work done for leading interior designers over the company’s 20-year history. Visitors will learn about the company’s unique engineering and fabrication capabilities, breadth of materials, and deep expertise in custom lighting design.

“The kitchen has literally become the ‘heart of the home’,” says Levi Wilson, Hammerton’s Founder and VP Design. “So a kitchen lighting plan is no longer just about function. Fixtures need to integrate with the overall interior design and help connect adjacent spaces. As in the bath, they must be beautiful and visually engaging — as well as functional.”

The four “Starburst” chandeliers selected as a key design feature for the two aisles of the KBIS Edit section are each a grand 48” in diameter. One aisle features two chandeliers with smoke-colored Rock Crystal blown glass and a Heritage Brass finish, while the other aisle features two chandeliers in clear Gem Blown glass with Heritage Brass finish. Each starburst design is offered in four glass colors and eight finishes in standard sizes ranging from 38”D – 72”D, and perfectly showcases Hammerton’s innovative capabilities at the intersection of artisan glass and metalwork. In fact, the unique glass shapes in these fixtures are a result of the company’s deep skillset in both glass and metal, since all glass jigs and molds are designed, engineered and fabricated from steel by the company’s in-house artisan team.

The Kitchen and Bath Industry Show takes place at the Las Vegan Convention Center February 19-21, 2019. Hammerton is welcoming attendees at the their booth #BL40010 in the new Lightovation Section at the new Salon by KBIS Tent throughout the show.
