Blending function, fashion and innovation, MasterBrand Cabinets, the nation’s leading cabinet manufacturer, showcases a multi-brand product offering of new cabinet styles, finishes and organizational solutions at the Kitchen and Bath Industry show (KBIS), today through Jan. 21.

Visitors to booth N2713 will find a comprehensive lineup of products from the MasterBrand portfolio of cabinet brands, arranged in vignettes reflecting the latest color and style trends for 2016. Featured products include gorgeous finishes that mirror the shift toward warmer grays, neutral browns and deeper whites, hand-painted brushed finishes and mixed textures for creating customized looks; transitional door styles for multifunctional spaces; beautiful and durable laminate and textured melamine cabinets; plus an expanded lighting program that meets the ever-growing demand for kitchen technology integration.

“Beauty is definitely more than skin deep for today’s homeowners, who want stylish cabinets that are as functional as they are beautiful. Our brands have interpreted this trend with an array of cabinet products that offer exceptional style, function, flexibility, durability and so much more,” said Stephanie Pierce, senior manager of the design studio, MasterBrand Cabinets.

Omega: Custom looks for those who enjoy the finer things in life 

Omega Cabinetry continues to cater to those who seek the beauty and luxury of custom cabinetry for the home. Its new Desert Finish is a light, khaki-stained color that blends nicely with other home furnishings offering a desirable new neutral option. Providing an alternate choice for light stains that are free of red or yellow undertones, Desert is a highly likable neutral across many decorating schemes. The finish is featured in the booth with a new textured grain laminate door style, Nella, and is combined with distressing to evoke an industrial look.

Also new to Omega are two new Shaker door styles, Benson and Blair, each with a slight bevel in the interior edge. In addition, Omega unveils an updated logo and identity reflecting its high level of excellence in fully custom cabinetry for those who enjoy a personalized space.

Decorá: Luxurious, hand-applied finishes for living in style 

Meeting the trend for handcrafted products, Decorá Cabinetry introduces three meticulously applied, luxuriously beautiful brushed finishes. Translucent Brushed Onyx, Brushed Saddle and Brushed Pavestone finishes can be layered over any paint color on Maple, whether from the Decorá Color Collections, the entire Sherwin-Williams palette, or any custom color under the sun, to achieve a completely personalized look. Best exhibited on light to medium paint colors, the gray to black tones of Onyx, the neutral brown-grays inherent in Saddle, and the warm gray tones of the Pavestone brushed finish also offer subtle definition on darker paints when a sophisticated tone-on-tone look is desired.

Diamond: Opening new doors with color and style

Diamond Cabinets introduces three door styles and four finishes, all with design flexibility for those who love modern lines and transitional styles. The Wells and Davis door styles have matching rails in both raised and flat panel versions. Davis is a full overlay, solid raised panel mitered door, and Wells is a full overlay, veneer flat panel mitered door. Both offer standard five-piece door fronts and an optional slab drawer front. Worthen is a full overlay Shaker style door with a five-piece drawer front available exclusively with new Elk finish, a medium walnut brown.

Diamond introduces a burst of complementary colors that add a unique element to modern, yet timeless cabinet styles. New Egret Opaque is a glowing, on-trend neutral that complements just about every finish in the new palette, including other whites. Blue is the new black, and Maritime Opaque, a dark, navy tone, works as a stylish focal point, yet is neutral enough to mix across multiple palettes. And Seal, a semi-translucent brownish-gray stain, is a soft neutral that blends with other brown-toned stains and opaques, and works well with bold, complementary accent colors.

Aristokraft: Classic fashion without the fuss 

Can lighter cabinet colors be as durable as they are beautiful? Absolutely, thanks to the Aristokraft PureStyle™ collection of low maintenance, high-performance cabinetry. Its velvety smooth surface is abrasion resistant, environmentally friendly, and more impervious to moisture than painted wood. With the demand growing for versatile, light-toned hues, Durham Glacier Gray, Durham White and Brellin Glacier Gray have been introduced to this well-loved offering. Glacier Gray, the most recent color introduction, partners well with cool-stained wood tones and today’s most popular countertop and flooring choices. Brellin will be exhibited at the booth in the on-trend White PureStyle finish, and Durham will be exhibited in both White and Glacier Gray PureStyle finishes.

KitchenCraft: Function and style come together

As the unwavering popularity of textured surfaces with horizontal detailing continues to trend upward, KitchenCraft answers the call for new options, adding four outdoors-inspired melamine selections for Contempra Horizontal cabinetry: Catamaran, Ebb, Manatee and Pier. The dynamic mix of fashionable grays and the rich resonance of warm browns add sophisticated style to cabinet exteriors.

Proving that cabinets can be as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside, KitchenCraft also features three drawer box choices: White or Natural Maple Melamine; furniture-quality hardwood with dovetail joinery; and fashionable gray metal.

Homecrest: Color is where it’s at with fresh finishes and glazes

Homecrest puts a fresh new face on cabinets with its new opaque paint finishes and glazes. As blue hues continue their march into 2016, new Cadet opaque finish is right in step, as a neutral with a modern casual look, yet can stand alone in an existing color scheme.  And as shades become softer and grow from warmer to cooler, Aloe offers an on-trend gray-green finish option. Also joining the lineup are two new glazes including Husk, a light neutral gray brown, and Rye, a versatile medium brown, expanding the range of stylish color choices.

Lighting program expands to more brands

Decorá and Diamond light the way to new kitchen technologies. Both brands now offer the Sensio Quattro 4-Zone Wall Controller, compatible with all Sensio Lighting systems. The wireless unit enables homeowners to control lighting — and dimming — with four customizable switches that enable users to control more than one zone without the need for hardwiring.
