Duo by Alison Rose explores the dichotomies of light and shadow, modern and ancient, translating stone tile into tactile objects of art. A celebration of playful creativity, Duo presents myriad pattern possibilities through the arrangement of its two units, Duo Dimensional and Duo Texture. For Duo Dimensional, Alison curated three colorways: Matcha Verde, Lilac, and Vanilla Onyx, each adorned with nautical-inspired ripples that enhance the inherent beauty of the stone. For Duo Texture, she selected two colorways: Nero and Calacatta Gold, enhanced by etched texture that honors the artist’s hand. Each side of Alison’s Duo is beautifully crafted and unique, but alone, incomplete. The true form of Duo is only attained when the two are joined as one.
