COMPAC conquers the limits of
space at KBIS 2019

The Spanish multinational will consolidate
its position on the American market with the presentation of its latest
collections at KBIS’19, the leading kitchen and bathroom industry show in the
U.S.

One of the new pieces from the firm
is Crater CC296, a sculpture of cosmic inspiration designed by the
international artist Arik Levy.

Valencia, January 13th, 2019. Minds over matter. With this
premise,
COMPAC again challenges all creative
frontiers with Crater CC296, a new
sculptural, collectible work designed by the versatile artist Arik Levy, which
seeks to alter viewers’ perceptions of movement and forms. This sculpture will
be unveiled at the KBIS 2019 show, one of the main international events for the
kitchen and bathroom industry, scheduled in Las Vegas from 19 to 21 February.

For yet another year, the COMPAC booth at KBIS
will be serving to strengthen the position of this Spanish company in the
American market, where it already has offices in numerous states. The COMPAC
booth was designed as a reference point for industry professionals –
architects, interior designers, decorators and distributors – wishing to gain
inspiration from the brand’s creative possibilities and familiarize themselves
with the versatility of the main materials, technological marble and quartz,
which are ideally suited to all kinds of technical application.

Crater CC296, the sculpture that the brand will
present at the show, is the result of an ongoing collaboration initiative
between COMPAC and Levy, who also created the Ice of Genesis series, the impressive Quartzrock piece and a Kryptonite
sculpture for this company based in Valencia, Spain.

The initiative was born out of a creative
synergy promoting the concept of unique designs based on the plasticity and
versatility of COMPAC materials. Crater
CC296
, a structure weighing 800kg
(1764 lbs)
inspired by a cosmos in which mind dominates matter, is a truly
unique and versatile piece created to represent the search for new ethereal
landscapes. It is also the fruit of research into hitherto unexplored surfaces
and materials.

In the words of its author, “the crater represents the nature of
another planet. Its vertices create an endless visual formation, in which the
eye completes the non-visible parts of its surface. This piece not only offers
a new geometry for our vision, but also a colorful structure in which great
kinetic energy is on show without the need for real movement”
.

Impact, imprint and
brand

The COMPAC exhibition area for KBIS 2019 is
expressly designed for this occasion, with three different “experience
areas” connected by a common thread: reach beyond known space, and travel
through a new COMPAC reality until you find inspiration. Just like the brand
does in every one of the company’s collections.

The exhibition of Levy’s Crater work will dominate the central area of the booth with its
avant-garde aesthetics. This will be the epicenter of the COMPAC show for
visitors. The piece will be surrounded by spectacular staging, with a making-of
video and a play of lights that will complement the entire sensory experience.
This central area will also have a presentation of the Ice Green
design, from the COMPAC Ice of
Genesis Premium collection, designed by Arik Levy and inspired by the glacial
lakes of the Arctic. Ice Green
boasts an amazing transparency in its material and beautiful natural
tones that make it attractive on all types of surfaces.

Last but not least, the COMPAC space at KBIS will
offer a work area for kitchen and bathroom professionals, who thanks to the
firm’s expert staff, will explore the infinite creative possibilities of COMPAC
materials and their applications in all types of areas, including the art world
and the Contract division.
