Chef Johnny Church is widely regarded as one of the most respected and passionate chefs in Las Vegas today and was recently name “Best Off-Strip Chef” by Vegas Seven’s 2015 Restaurant Awards. From a working class childhood in Flint, Mich., Chef Church has made remarkable strides in the restaurant industry, including executive chef positions at Bradley Ogden’s Root 246 in Solvang, CA; Michael Mina’s XIV in Los Angeles, CA; and P.J. Clarke’s and Rick Moonen’s RM Seafood in Las Vegas, NV where he also opened the daring RX Boiler Room, garnering Desert Companion magazine’s “Best New Restaurant.”
Among his other accolades are being named a “Rising Chef” by Wine Spectator, a “Top Chef de Cuisine” by Las Vegas Life magazine, and “Best Pop Up” by Vegas Seven for his Sunday Supper series at MTO Cafe, the fast casual concept he created in 2013.
Artisanal Foods Café
His first independent venture, Artisanal Foods Café, 2053 Pama Lane, Las Vegas works in concert with Artisanal Foods purveyors to flexibly execute both casual and fine dining events using locally and internationally sourced products and cutting-edge creativity.
Chef Church serves up a three-course chef’s menu weekly from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. (PT) Tuesdays through Saturdays to showcase new ingredients on the market side of the business.
