FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: San
Francisco, CA – December 27, 2019 – With
growing concerns over water quality, source contaminants, and municipal
treatment oversight, it’s becoming more important that we ensure the cleanest
possible drinking water for ourselves and our families at the one place we can
control – our homes. Recently, innovations in home water filtration have led to
a number of at-home solutions for effective water filtration in the form of powerful
reverse osmosis, though with most RO systems on the market today, issues of
efficiency have entered the dialogue.
Brondell
has spent the last several years innovating the RO space and engineering
products for a more sustainable solution to this high-powered water filtration
method. Having introduced their H2O+ Circle reverse osmosis system in 2015,
they cut wastewater way down to a 2.4 to 1 waste-to-water ratio, making Circle up
to 10 times more efficient than other systems on the market. With their latest
breakthrough, the H2O+ Capella, Brondell has taken it one step further,
innovating a reverse osmosis system with a waste-to-water ratio of just 1:1.
Capella
is a non-electric reverse osmosis system with a unique Eco-Efficient RO (E2RO)
membrane that features a specialized permeation and flow pattern to reduce
wastewater. It also features powerful three-stage filtration complete with an
Activated Carbon Plus filter and a Carbon Block post filter for improved taste.
“We
believe it’s becoming more important that families take control of their home
health, especially in the most important resource they have,” says Brondell’s
President, Steve Scheer. “With this new RO system, our customers can be sure
they’re getting the highest quality drinking water without the waste often associated
with reverse osmosis. Of course, everyone has the right to the healthiest
possible drinking water but we wanted to design something that would be just as
healthy for our environment.”
Brondell’s
H2O+ Capella is set to be available in Q2 of 2020 and will be priced at around
just $200 MSRP. Visit Brondell at KBIS 2020, booth SL4022, to learn more and
get a firstlook at this breakthrough innovation in reverse osmosis technology.
