BlueStar® to Launch 48” Induction Range, Featuring Industry-Leading Innovation at KBIS 2025

Booth Designed by Award-Winning Designer Tineke Triggs Featuring BlueStar Color of the Year, Signal Brown, and 2025 Product Preview

BLANDON, PA — January 21, 2024 — BlueStar®, manufacturer of professional-grade kitchen appliances for the home, will unveil its first-ever 48” induction range, the Platinum Series Induction Range, during the brand’s inaugural presence at the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) in Las Vegas from February 25-27, 2025. The booth (#W1877) will be curated by award-winning San Francisco-based designer Tineke Triggs, who also selected the brand’s recently announced 2025 Color of the Year, Signal Brown.
Leveraging Signal Brown as a core color of this year’s booth design, Triggs aimed to create a space that evokes a sense of connection to nature, to contrast the intense environment of the convention center. Triggs drew from the natural world and focused on the science behind design, color, mood, and emotion. The booth’s color themes feature deep greens, muddy rust-brown stone, and end-of-season leaves. The space encourages guests to feel at home. In addition to the new 48” Platinum Series Induction Range, the booth will feature BlueStar’s award-winning Dual Fuel Range, Built-In and Column Refrigeration, three vent hoods, a preview of their new drop-in cooktop (launching summer 2025), and custom cabinetry throughout the booth by Village Handcrafted.
“When designing anything, especially a booth, the challenge lies in being unique yet approachable. For example, the metallic doors on either side of the induction range felt like a bold concept—something people would want to touch, feel, and be drawn to by the color,” says Triggs. “One of the great things about BlueStar is the ability to customize appliances to suit any space, whether traditional or contemporary. I wanted to communicate that flexibility through the booth design. Many people find it difficult to understand how to use color effectively in their designs. By showcasing how we incorporated color here, we made it feel achievable and inspiring.”
BlueStar’s 48” Platinum Series Induction Range redefines cooking with groundbreaking features and innovations new to the industry. The range features an industry-leading matte-finish cooktop that is 80% less reflective, resistant to scratches, stains, and fingerprints than standard surfaces. It features six oversized cooking zones, including two 11″ zones, the largest in the industry, and four 9″ zones—a bridge function creates the most powerful zone on the market at 7,400 watts. Each zone offers 12 precise heat settings controlled by the advanced Power Optimization System, which prevents power disruptions. BlueStar’s exclusive patent-pending Power Indicator Light Bar provides a dynamic visual cue for heat intensity that is paired with customizable knobs for a tactile, personalized experience. It includes Two True Convection Ovens—one accommodating commercial 18″ x 26″ baking sheets—and an intuitive 7″ touchscreen control.
“We’re thrilled to introduce such an innovative and forward-thinking product to the industry at KBIS. Our goal was to combine BlueStar’s renowned power and performance with the speed and efficiency of induction,” says Ann Muth, Vice President of Marketing at BlueStar. “As a leader in the gas range market, our objective was clear: to translate the tactile and emotional experience of gas cooking into a modern induction system.”
The booth will feature three vignettes designed by Triggs, each offering a distinct design perspective. At the center, visitors are invited to take a seat and gather around a kitchen nook nestled behind a Caesarstone 5118 Calacatta Scoria island with integrated cabinets and seating by Village Handcrafted—just as they would at home.
To the left, the new 48” Platinum Series Induction Range will be showcased in Oyster White with Pewter Trim, paired with a matching Sahara Curved Hood and a 36” Built-In Refrigerator. This vignette highlights a beautiful Mirabel Porcelain Countertop and scalloped backsplash from Caesarstone and custom White Oak cabinets from Village Handcrafted, presenting a fresh alternative to the traditional white kitchen. The design exudes a contemporary, softer Southern charm, with creamy ivories replacing stark whites.
On the opposite side, the vignette contrasts this softness with a deeper, edgier look—a masculine counterbalance to the feminine energy. This space features a color-drenched aesthetic with custom color-matched Village Handcrafted cabinetry in BlueStar’s Black Green, complemented by a striking Caesarstone Arabetto Copper Quartz Countertop. The monochromatic palette is completed by a 36” Nova Series Range in Black Green with chrome trim, paired with a matching Normandy Hood.
At the back of the booth, bridging the two contrasting styles, the Color of the Year takes center stage. A 60” Dual Fuel Range and 60” Mesa Hood, both in Signal Brown, are framed against a Caesarstone 508 Isobella backdrop featuring an off-white base with gold marbling, while custom Brass Aluminum Doors from Village Handcrafted keep the continuity of warm metals and act as bookends for the range. Additionally, custom panels from Village Handcrafted adorn the column refrigerator and freezer, seamlessly tying together the soft and deep tones of the booth.
Stop by the booth on Tuesday, February 25, at 3 pm to meet with Tineke Triggs and receive a signed copy of her book, Design Mixology: The Interiors of Tineke Triggs. BlueStar will also present the new Induction Range at the DesignBites Competition on Wednesday, February 26, at 12:30 pm at the NEXTStage South Hall.
