For 25 years, Barbour and her team have been translating brand stories into built environments for the likes of Hooker Furniture, La-Z-Boy, and more, setting new standards for the industry. In Fall 2023, Barbour was appointed Chairman of The High Point Market Authority, following four years of service on its board and executive committee. With a keen ability to see the bigger picture, Barbour excels in articulating visions that inspire and drive organizational growth. Her strategic insights and clear execution plans have been pivotal in her entrepreneurial success.
Barbour’s contributions have been widely recognized, earning her numerous awards, including Interior Designer of the Year at the 35th Annual ARTS Awards, Business High Point’s Women-Owned Business of the Year Award, WithIt’s Mentorship Award, Furniture Today Rising Stars Award, GDCC Outstanding VIP Award, and the TBJ Outstanding Women in Business. Her dedication to her community is evident in her passion project, High Point Discovered, a 501(c)3 organization she founded. Under her leadership, High Point Discovered has become a global platform highlighting the unique people, places, and hidden gems of High Point, capturing the essence of a city rich in creativity. Barbour views this endeavor as her way of giving back to the city that has given her so much.
