Walker Zanger adds curve appeal and pops of color to ceramic 6th Avenue
Stone and tile company releases adventurous additions to popular collection

LOS ANGELES – Walker Zanger reimagines its clean, crisp and classic 6th Avenue collection with an expansion of five new colors and six captivating shapes and mosaics. The vibrant palette and sophisticated designs range from edgy geometrics to organic curves, while remaining true to the collection’s signature aesthetic.

“We’re seeing designers move toward refreshingly unique colors for their custom-designed spaces as they seek new ways to create eye-catching accents,” said Jared Becker, Walker Zanger Vice President of Design and Marketing. “Though the 6th Avenue collection is already incredibly versatile, the additions offer exciting twists on our classic designs with retro pops of color for something a bit more adventurous.”

The original 6th Avenue collection features mosaics of hexagons, dots and arabesques, while the new expansion includes soft-edges, delicate bricks, and elongated hexagons. One new sensuous design is named “Sofia,” which is a curvaceous interpretation of the original “Julia” mosaic and encapsulates a mid-century modern feel. Similarly, “Curved Chevron” juxtaposes the classic chevron’s hard edges by adding an elegant flow to each tile.

Also, the new palette introduces fresh, trending hues to create a technicolor version of the original, which had included 12 colors spanning stock whites and tinted neutrals. New colors such as Grass, Lemongrass, Marlin and Ice Blue add bright and playful notes to the collection, while Ink offers a stark-black option to create a clean, crisp and classic aesthetic.
