The National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA), owners of the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) is pleased to announce the second annual KBIS Outstanding Media Award Winner – Samantha Hart editor-in-chief of Better Homes & Gardens Kitchens and Bath Ideas and Beautiful Kitchens & Baths.
The KBIS Outstanding Media Award recognizes a member of the media who contributes to the promotion, education, and awareness of the kitchen and bath industry. These industry experts share a passion for outstanding kitchen and bath design and the products and projects that are integral to the advancement and understanding of the industry.
Originally from Cape Town, South Africa, Samantha joined Meredith Publishing in 2006 as an editor in the Special Interest Media Group working on titles including Remodel, and Beautiful Kitchens. She is passionate about home design and continually amazed by the talented people who keep the industry exciting. “Just when I think that I’ve seen the most beautiful kitchen or bath ever designed, another one comes along that knocks it off its perch.”
Prior to joining Meredith she was the Managing Editor of SA Rugby magazine at Highbury Monarch Communications in Cape Town, one of the largest independent publishing houses in southern Africa. She resides with her family in the Des Moines area.
Congratulations to all of the nominees for their outstanding work and demonstrated commitment to the kitchen and bath industry.

Kitchen and bath brands that have participated in both shows can choose to exhibit in the KBIS or IBS hall. One pass will provide access to both exhibits.
