Mansfield Plumbing Rewards Customers and Distributors for Supporting ‘Made in America’ Products

During a time when most manufacturing is fleeing the U.S., Mansfield Plumbing Products (Mansfield) is proud to be expanding its U.S. plant. Mansfield is the only company in its category to produce more than 75 percent of its top-quality bathroom fixtures in America. Today, Mansfield announces it has rewarded hundreds of distributors and customers with cash and prizes for selling its American made products.

 

Through its “American Classic” and “American Muscle” promotions,  Mansfield awarded hundreds of gifts that ranged from American flags and poles installed at winners’ businesses to $1,000 debit cards. “We’re proud our ‘American Classic’ and ‘American Muscle’ promotions have been so well received, and that our customers support American industry and keeping jobs here in the U.S.,” says Charles Scott, vice president of marketing for Mansfield Plumbing. “The promotions are great ways for us to not only spread word about how well our toilets flush, but also that we employ hundreds of hard-working Americans at our Ohio and Texas manufacturing plants, and are continuing to invest in growing our U.S. production.”

 

About “American Muscle”

Participants entered the “American Muscle” promotion from July 2-September 28, 2012. To participate, plumbing contractors and sales counter persons simply submitted entry forms with proofs of purchase for Alto and Summit toilets. Each proof of purchase equaled one entry for a chance to win 1 of 295 prizes ranging in value from $15 to $100.

 

About “American Classic”

The “American Classic” promotion took place from Oct. 15-Dec. 31, 2012, and celebrated Mansfield’s 20-millionth Alto toilet manufactured at its Perrysville, Ohio, plant. Distributors who reached target purchase levels were automatically entered into a sweepstakes. More than 200 distributors won prizes such as American flags and flagpoles, t-shirts and cash prizes from $250 to $1,000. At the same time, Mansfield put coupons inside their packages for the distributor’s customers to discover and redeem for hundreds of prizes.

“We’ve hosted ‘American Muscle’ promotions for the last few years, and will continue to since they help us tell the story of the quality and consistent availability of our products,” says Scott. “We’re looking forward to expanding our manufacturing facility and producing even more of our

products right here in the U.S.A.”
