Be among the first to experience an all-new take on Kamado-style grilling, functional enhancements to the award-winning Hybrid Fire Grill and the 2020 outdoor design color trends at the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show
CHICAGO (January 21, 2020) Kalamazoo Outdoor Gourmet, the leader in high-performance outdoor grills and kitchens, returns to the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS), January 21-23, 2020, in Las Vegas with exciting new products, bold innovations and signature design elements. Attendees are invited to meet the Kalamazoo team at booth #C9304 for a hands-on experience to explore the brand’s award-winning outdoor kitchen collection, the now-available Shokunin Kamado Grill, an all-new grill grate lift system for the Hybrid Fire Grill and a showcase of the emerging outdoor living color trends for 2020.
“Our commitment to raising the bar for an unrivaled outdoor cooking experience is deeply rooted in Kalamazoo’s DNA, and this year is no different,” said Russ Faulk, chief designer and head of product for Kalamazoo Outdoor Gourmet. “Not only have we improved world’s best gas grill by increasing it’s capabilities and functionality, but we’re also excited to introduce the new Shokunin Kamado Grill and build upon the industry’s most comprehensive and highest-performing outdoor kitchen collection available.”
New for 2020
The Kalamazoo Shokunin Kamado Grill is the next evolution of kamado grills and redefines industry standards for this style of outdoor cooking. A Best of KBIS finalist for 2020, Kalamazoo took the key design principles of a traditional kamado grill and broadened the Shokunin’s capabilities by incorporating an adjustable fire grate system for greater cooking versatility, adding two inches of insulation for maximum heat retention and efficiency, and designing the grill with a rectangular grilling surface to maximize multi-zone grilling – which is a first for the respective category.
Also available for the first time is a new grill grate lift system for the Kalamazoo Hybrid Fire Grill. This new feature makes restocking charcoal and wood fuel sources even more convenient with less cleanup and will be incorporated as a standard option for new 2020 models.
Emerging Outdoor Living Color Trends
Outdoor kitchens are among the most popular remodeling projects, according to the National Kitchen & Bath Association, and one way to connect these spaces with the indoors is by using color. That’s why Kalamazoo has partnered with world-renowned designers, Kelli Ellis, Lisa Mende, Mary Douglas Drysdale and Young Huh, to curate the newest color palettes for the Arcadia Series of outdoor kitchen cabinetry. Inspired by elements from diverse environments, this unique collection illustrates the ability to create a truly one-of-a-kind outdoor living space.
