Third Annual event to be held in Electrolux booth
KBIS 2015 kicks off the second annual Design & Construction WeekTM at the Las Vegas Convention Center with “Champagne & Cupcakes,” a live “Tweet Up” event. Hosted by Modenus BlogTour Las Vegas, this invitation-only event will be attended by a veritable “who’s who” of social media influencers within the kitchen and bath industry. The event will take place at 11AM on Tuesday, January 20, 2015, in the Electrolux booth (N2628).
“We are excited to again co-host this event with Electrolux to celebrate KBIS and build excitement with members of the A&D community both at the show and remotely on social media,” said Brian Pagel, VP Kitchen & Bath Group, Emerald Expositions.
The tweet up event has become an annual tradition at KBIS and marks the official kick-off of Design & Construction WeekTM. And in true Las Vegas style, the event will be catered with champagne and cupcakes.
“Electrolux is proud to once again sponsor and host the Champagne and Cupcakes official KBIS kick-off event,” said Eloise Hale, VP of Corporate Communications, Electrolux North America. “Electrolux is excited about 2015 and we look forward to raising a glass with attendees and kitchen and bath industry professionals in person and across social media.”

KBIS, in conjunction with the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) is an inspiring, interactive platform that showcases the latest industry products, trends and technologies. KBIS is the voice of the kitchen and bath industry and has been for 50 years.
Early in 2013, the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) and National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) announced an agreement to co-locate the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) with the International Builders’ Show (IBS) in Las Vegas, Nevada in February 2014 under the banner of Design and Construction Week™. The mega-event will return Jan. 20-22, 2015, in Las Vegas with each show occupying a separate hall.
Kitchen and bath brands that have participated in both shows can continue to choose to exhibit in the KBIS or IBS hall. One pass will provide access to both exhibits. NKBA and NAHB will continue to produce separate educational programming and special events.
